Prior to your daily learning routine, outline the quantity of work you seek to complete: This is one of the most effective & proven methods of preventing procrastination in learning.
Set realistic learning goals: Formulating long-term & short-term goals, incorporating your challenges, strengths & weaknesses to create an effective learning map.
Time-Management: Manage your time well, maximising on your Allah-given ability to preserve The Glorious Qur’aan in your precious heart! Know that time is a trust gifted to your from Allah Most High – use it well to earn His Pleasure.
Motivated! : One of the key ingredients to your hifdh success, lies in having & maintaining a high level of motivation. Stay inspired by : Listening to motivating discourses, reading encouraging articles & books on the virtues of the Qur’aan
Remain Steadfast: There may be instances where your learning seems to have stagnated or slackened - but please, don’t loose hope & keep strong in your faith. Remember that every verse learnt draws you nearer to the accomplishment of memorising the Noble Qur’aan!
Techno-Wise: Utilise the many avenues available & at your disposal to enhance your learning & accelerate your progress– iPods, PC programmes, Compact Discs, Blogs / Websites, etc. Theses are highly recommended methods to aid in your DAILY revision.
Networking: Establish a supportive circle of like-minded & orientated sisters in your midst, including your merciful parents - with your teacher / mentor at the apex of this pyramid.
The Ultimate Goal: Never loose sight of your noble & sincere reasons for memorising the Book of Allah ‘Azza wa Jall: The Pleasure of Allah, and Allah Alone!
